1) When we started the site, we did not have an archival consciousness. So, our first two shows, recorded in late May and early June of 1997, are permanently lost... unfortunately. These earliest shows were recorded on cassette, and the first tapes were recorded over with newer shows. Once taken off line, the media files were also deleted, and the playlists disappeared somewhere in the shuffle between me and Jim. I did not own my own computer until February of 1998, so Jim had to handle all the web mastering, including the encoding.

2) The shows of Oct. 6, Nov. 2, and Dec. 17, 1997 have been lost for some mysterious reason. However, the playlists have survived and are part of this list.

3) Although all shows are now in the .mp3 format, shows from 1998 were originally encoded in pre-G2 Real Audio. There are no cassette, DAT, or .wav masters. The frequency response is limited, but still worth listening to, we think. (Not until 2000, with the advent of affordable CD burners and 40 gigabyte hard drives, were we able to master all shows in full fidelity .wav AND hold on to the masters.)

Enjoy the shows!
